ARENIZ / Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains which personal data ARENIZ (the game, the areniz.com website and the ARENIZ online services) processes, why, how long we keep it and which rights you have. The controller is DATAIZ LLC (8100 Kempwood Dr, Houston, TX 77055, USA), publisher of ZOGOR GAMES.
1. The ZOGOR GAMES account
Playing ARENIZ online requires a free account. You can sign in with a provider you already use — Google, Apple, Facebook or X — or with your e-mail address and a password. A sign-in provider sends us a unique user identifier and, depending on your provider settings, your name and e-mail address. Sign in with Apple lets you hide your real e-mail address.
We store: your account identifier, the linked provider identifiers, your e-mail address (if you or your provider gave us one), a one-way hash of your password if you use e-mail sign-in (never the password itself), your display name, your friend code, your account status, the last game you signed in to, and the dates of account creation and last sign-in. We do not receive or store your provider password.
2. Date of birth, name and profile details
When you create an account we ask for your date of birth. It is required because ARENIZ may only be used from the age of 13 (see the User Agreement) and because your age lets us apply age-appropriate protections. We store only the date itself; your age is calculated from it whenever it is needed. We cannot create an account for anyone under 13. Players aged 13 to 17 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and their chat is limited to friends. Accounts created before this requirement are asked for their date of birth once; you can enter it only once, and our support team can correct a mistake.
We store your username, the history of your previous names and a record of every rename (date, old and new name, and whether it was free or paid with gold). You can change your name twice per calendar year for free; every further change costs 500 gold. We keep the name history so that other players can recognise you and so that we can investigate impersonation and abuse.
We also ask for your gender and your country (shown as a flag on your public profile; you can hide the flag). Both are required; for gender you can choose "Prefer not to say". Your preferred language, your favourite faction and how you heard about ARENIZ are voluntary. You can change these details at any time in your profile settings, and remove the voluntary ones. We use them to show your profile, to show the game and our messages in your language, for statistics that we evaluate only in aggregate and, also only in aggregate, to improve the game and to understand which channels bring new players to ARENIZ.
We send you news and offers by e-mail only if you give your separate consent. The checkbox for this is unticked by default and is not needed to use ARENIZ. We record when you gave your consent and which version of the consent text you agreed to. You can withdraw your consent at any time in your profile settings; we record the withdrawal as well.
Our internal statistics use aggregated figures only, such as age groups or the number of players per country; we do not compile lists of individual birth dates. Your date of birth, name history, rename records, profile details and marketing consent record are included in the copy of your data that you can request, and they are erased when you delete your account.
3. Friends
When you add friends, we store your friend requests, accepted friendships and blocks. Other players can find you only by your friend code. Your friends can see your display name and friend code. Blocks are never revealed to the blocked player.
4. Game data
Your campaign progress and settings are stored on your device. For online features our server stores, linked to your account: your public profile, match results, rating and ranks, medals and badges, experience points, clan membership, your gold balance, items and rentals, coupon redemptions and your purchase and order records. We need these records to provide the items you bought and to prevent fraud.
Connecting your game account on areniz.com: to buy and to show your purchases on the website, you connect your ARENIZ game account once with its commander name (or e-mail) and game password. The password is sent once to our game server and never stored; we keep only an encrypted sign-in session of that game account, linked to your ZOGOR GAMES account, until you disconnect it, the game session ends or you delete your account. Under My account you see your gold, your items, your payments (date, item, amount, currency, status, refunds) and your gold transactions.
5. Screenshot sharing
When you press Share, the screenshot you chose and its optional caption are uploaded to areniz.com and a share page is created at areniz.com/s/… so that you can post it to X, Facebook, Instagram or elsewhere. Anyone with the link can view a shared screenshot. It stays online until you delete your account or we remove it; you can ask us to remove a share at any time, and we may hide content that breaks our terms. Nothing is uploaded unless you press Share.
6. Support messages and bug reports
To contact us or report a bug on areniz.com or in the game you must be signed in. We store your message, the chosen topic, the optional game version and platform, an optional screenshot, the date and a keyed hash of your IP address (to protect the service from abuse), linked to your account. We answer through your account's confirmed e-mail address and on the My account page; your e-mail address is never shown on the site.
After review, a bug report can be published in the public bug tracker: only its title, description, steps, expected and actual result, game version, platform and status. Your name, e-mail address, account and IP address are never published. Screenshots are seen only by the team.
Messages are deleted together with your account. Your bug reports then stay in the tracker without any link to you, and their screenshots are deleted.
7. Licence and security checks
To protect test versions and stop cheating, the game periodically asks areniz.com for a signed configuration. This request includes the game version, build number, platform, distribution channel and your account identifier. To limit abuse, our server keeps short-lived counters keyed to a one-way hash of your IP address, which are deleted within about a day. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs for security.
8. What we do not do
We show no advertising, we use no advertising identifiers and we do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking in the game or on this website.
9. Where the data is stored and who processes it
Account, profile, friends, purchase and sharing data are stored in our own database on our servers. Our hosting provider processes this data only on our behalf. Sign-in providers (Google, Apple, Meta, X) process your data under their own privacy policies. In-game purchases are processed by our payment partner, which receives the payment details you enter at checkout and acts under its own privacy policy; we never receive your full card details, only the order status, amount and currency. If data is transferred outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Payments on areniz.com and in the game are processed by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. Stripe receives the payment details you enter; we never receive or store card numbers. We receive the order status, amount, currency and a payment reference, which we keep with the order for accounting, refunds and fraud prevention.
10. Legal basis
We process account, friends and game data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract). Security logs and licence checks are based on our legitimate interest in protecting the game and its players. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it first.
We process your date of birth to apply the minimum age and the protections for minors (performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations). We process your gender and country to provide your account and public profile (performance of a contract). The voluntary profile details and marketing e-mails are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
11. How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account, sign-in identifiers, display name, friend code, friends, friend requests, blocks, sessions and shared screenshots are deleted from our live database immediately. Copies in server backups may remain for a limited time until they are overwritten. Purchase records are kept by the store you bought from.
Your date of birth, name history, profile details and marketing consent record are kept while your account exists and are erased from our live database when you delete your account.
12. Your rights (GDPR and KVKK)
Depending on where you live, including under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation and Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you have the right to: learn whether we process your data and obtain a copy; correct inaccurate data; have your data deleted; restrict or object to processing; receive your data in a portable format; withdraw consent at any time; and complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey, the Personal Data Protection Authority — KVKK). To use these rights, write to us at the address below. We answer within 30 days.
13. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the game under Friends → Account, or on our account deletion page, whichever way you sign in. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
14. Children
ARENIZ is not directed at children under 13 (or under the minimum age for consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Since 20 October 2026 we ask every player for a date of birth. If it shows that you are under 13, we do not create an account, and an existing account cannot be used for online play. Players aged 13 to 17 may only play with the consent of a parent or legal guardian; their chat is limited to friends, and this setting cannot be loosened.
15. Cookies on areniz.com
The website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. It stores only your language choice and whether you have dismissed the cookie notice, in your own browser. The administration area uses a strictly necessary session cookie for staff only.
16. Changes
If this policy changes, we publish the new version at this address and, for important changes, tell you in the game.
